The Power of Metal
It’s hard not to be impressed by a magnificent gemstone—or a whopping gathering of diamonds—on any particular piece of jewelry. But often one of the unsung heroes of a jewel’s design is its metal. While we unquestionably admire a magnificent gemstone piece (the mark of which involves as little metal as possible, allowing the gem to stand out on its own), designers are flipping the script and making some creations all about the metal. Be on the lookout not only for filigree work, but also for fabric-like texturing, cutout accents, and masterful two-tone designs.

What’s the ‘Tucson State of Mind’ you may ask? As veteran show-goers can attest, it’s a design-focused and zen-like state that feels more like a vacation than a tradeshow. The JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa is a veritable desert oasis, offering a pleasant respite from winter and the post-holiday malaise. This combination of a luxurious yet tranquil environment paired with an unmatched presentation of exquisite gemstones and finished designer collections does as much for the soul as it does for inspiring spring buys.
