I hear the words LUXURY Privé, and I just know something good is on its way. When it's combined with Waldorf Astoria and New York, it's doubly, triply, quadruply good. For three days, this dreamy setting will play host to a select number of jewelry brands that promise to bring the bling. And what a glorious selection of bling it's going to be. So whether you're planning to attend the show or interested in some really good jewelry, here's a preview of what's to come.

THE MUST-ATTEND JEWELRY EVENT OF THE SUMMERLUXURY Privé is right around the corner, taking place Sunday, July 24th – Tuesday, July 26th at the legendary Waldorf Astoria on New York’s Park Avenue. This summer event has drawn much industry attention over the past few years as not only the premier destination to complete holiday buying but also a serene respite to catch up with those designers and brands that weren’t in Vegas or you may have missed.

LUXURY Privé 2016 will boast an impressive line-up of the best of the best in jewelry design and manufacturing. You’ll find an assortment of high-end, fine jewelry power-houses like A. Jaffe, Beverley K, Mastoloni, and Simon G., plus LUXURY Privé’s new focus on design will feature Avigdor, Ed Levin, Judi Powers, Nina Nguyen and more. From Sunday Brunch featuring Waldorf’s famous Bloody Mary’s and live entertainment, to live painting by Angie Crabtree, LUXURY Privé is shaping up to be a can’t miss experience.

Waldorf’s famous Bloody Mary’s and live jazz sets the mood for a day full of active jewelry buying and networking.

  • Appreciate the Arts

Daily, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, LUXURY Privé Show Floor
California artist Angie Crabtree joins LUXURY Privé for a live painting demonstration and exhibition. Crabtree’s series conveys realistically painted diamond facets enlarged 1,000+ times allowing viewers to experience the small, beautiful gems in an up-close and personal way. Come meet Angie and admire her truly dazzling display of art.

  • Merchandise Credit Sweepstakes Drawing

Sunday, July 24 and Monday, July 25 at 4:00 PM, Grand Ballroom
Tuesday, July 26 at 2:30pm, Grand Ballroom

It’s been a month since Las Vegas Jewelry week came to a close, but the industry is still buzzing with all of the unforgettable finds at this year’s show. Case in point: International jewelry blogger Liza Urla, founder of Gemologue. In her latest entry, Liza shares her top 10 designer picks from LUXURY 2016 including Rina Limor’s Cabochon rings, stunning statement pieces by Erica Courtney, and one-of-a-kind pieces from Zorab.

Last week, we welcomed back the Full Circle Series on the Insider blog. The month of July will profile jewelry influencers who will be at LUXURY Privé. The line-up we have is impressive -- get ready to be inspired, enlightened, and empowered by the bright minds in our community. First up, Angie Crabtree, an artist whose work allows viewers to experience the small, beautiful gems in an up-close and personal way. 2016 HIGHLIGHTS & EVENT IN REVIEW

Going out with the heat, JCK Las Vegas concluded its 26th edition on Monday, June 6. The show welcomed the best of the best in the jewelry industry with over 2,400 exhibiting brands and manufacturers, as well as an abundant lineup of industry networking opportunities and informative panel discussions. Highlights from the show include a newly designed show floor, complete with product "Neighborhoods" for easy shopping; a reorganized Design Center, with additional new talent of aspiring design students alongside 21 Rising Stars; and an undeniable focus on lifestyle, the future of retail, and merchandising educational content.

For LUXURY, JCK's premier high-end event, the yearly pilgrimage to the desert began Tuesday, May 31 with a 3-day, invite-only event for qualified buyers. The show boasted an impressive lineup of 250 elite brands including an additional new ballroom space filled with Prestige and the new LUXURY Watch. LUXURY welcomed more retail stores and buyers than years past and additional hosted buyers through LUXURY and JCK.
