New York, NY - Thursday, January 19th - In less than two weeks, JCK will kick off the 2017 show roster with JCK Tucson, its artisan-focused edition during Tucson Jewelry week in Arizona. The Show offers a range of benefits and alternatives to the traditional Tucson shopper looking for gems– namely a host of sought-after designers who are making waves in the designer category, as well as, tech standouts and a thoughtfully curated events program that speaks to the new era of jewelry selling. JCK Tucson takes place February 1-4 at the JW Marriot Starr Pass Resort & Spa. Here are 5 components that make this event special:

It's Unique: JCK Tucson features over 80 collections of finished, one-of-a-kind designer jewelry in the Arizona Ballroom including: Pamela Froman, Suzy Landa, Todd Reed, Elizabeth Garvin, Atelier Zobel, Alishan, Adel Chefridi, and many more.  The adjacent Tucson Ballroom is an experiential home to an additional 35 vendors including exotic Burmese rubies, jade, and gemstones in addition to custom mountings/settings in the MSJA Pavillion,   and cutting-edge technology offerings like 3D printing and CAD innovation from suppliers including GemVision (by Stuller), B9 Creations, Podium, Techform Casting, and more.

It's Convenient: Taking place February 1-4, JCK Tucson does not overlap with Centurion or interfere with AGTA's opening day, yet provides its own schedule to take advantage of during this important market week. Just 8 minutes from downtown Tucson, JCK offers shuttles that run every 30 minutes between the JW Marriott Starr Pass and the Tucson Convention Center.

It's Relaxing: The backdrop and amenities that come with a 5-star resort property, daily food trucks, and sunset tequila toasts are just the beginning. In keeping with the serene desert vibe, JCK Tucson's events program offers morning yoga benefitting Jewelers for Children.

It's Trending: Never one to shy away from the fun of social media, JCK will create a buzz around the show and its exhibitors, incorporating a continual stream of brand features and spotlights via the JCK Insider Blog , and @JCKEvents Instagram. Coverage will include an Instagram takeover with JCK newcomers @GetRocked, who will be on-site covering the show to their 100,000+ followers.

It's Inspiring –Back by popular demand, the Tucson Design Challenge in partnership with Uncommon Goods and Overstock.com Inc. (and presided over by OPRAH Magazine Accessories Editor Paula Lee) will champion superior craftsmanship and innovation in the spirit of friendly competition. A series of social events designed to inspire will include fireside chats (one featuring John Atencio, whose JCK Tucson appearance marks his tradeshow return in over two decades) and Gems After Dark, a celebration in collaboration with WJA, GenNext and AGS Young Titleholders that unites the industry with evening events such as star gazing, tequila tastings, and The Passion Project for a truly inspiring business experience.
