What’s one thing we often forgo during a busy day on the JCK Las Vegas show floor? Food. It’s a sad—but true—reality, and one that has many of us cramming our purses and pockets with trail mix and cereal bars.

Those who do make time for lunch, as delicious as it may be, often sneak bites between booth visitors, and retailers keeping appointments are fortunate to sneak in a sit-down meal when they can. When you can feast your eyes on such an incredible assortment of jewelry and other store necessities, it can be easy to forget that your appetite needs nourishing, too. 

That’s why a really good dinner—make that plural, dinners—is so vital to your visit at JCK. And in our new location back at the Sands Expo & The Venetian, you won’t find that difficult to come by.

Any good business trip—or vacation, if you have that vibe going for you in Vegas—can’t be complete without a few memorable meals. But it’s more than just the food. Good cuisine connects us all, it’s something that can be shared no matter where in the world you’re from, or what title you hold in the industry. So gather your colleagues, your friends, your budding business partners, and perhaps your family, and head on over to any one of (or all of) these awesome dining options, right on site. 

Bouchon – From famed chef Thomas Keller—named America’s Best Chef by Time Magazine, also Michelin Star and James Beard Award recipient—his restaurant is the ultimate place to share a meal. Featuring succulent French cuisine, be sure to score a reservation ASAP for this gem. And, if you’re in the mood for something sweet, there are two Bouchon bakeries on property, too. 

Mott 32 – If you’re looking for an exquisite dining experience, Mott 32 is it. Named for the famed convenience store on 32 Mott Street in New York City, the restaurant’s menu represents today’s Hong Kong, offering flavors and ingredients from around China that have been adapted to represent the new, modern chapter in the country’s cuisine. This is a fine dining experience worthy of your taste buds and attention. 

The Factory Kitchen – A guest favorite, The Factory Kitchen is a replica of the original trattoria located in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, a partnership between restauranteur Matteo Ferdinandi and Chef Angelo Auriana. The menu is Italian, comprised of seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients for traditional, mouthwatering recipes.

Chica – Celebrity chef Lorena Garcia’s Chica serves up Latin cuisine in a bright, modern setting—and it’s the first establishment on the Las Vegas strip from a Latin chef. Its menu is influenced by the cuisines of Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, with a vibrant menu that has something for every taste bud.

Yardbird – This is Miami’s famous Yardbird, where Southern comfort food—including critically-acclaimed fried chicken—is served. The original location was recognized by the James Beard Foundation and Bon Appetit, so we can think of no better place to go for some good Southern fare, right on the Strip.

Cut – If you’re looking for a good steak, visit Wolfgang Puck’s Cut, an establishment prided on its excellent selections of steak, shellfish and whole fresh fish, as well as an awesome wine list (because what’s steak without wine pairing?).

Buddy V’s Ristorante – After you’ve finished waiting in the very long line for the Cake Boss star’s pastries, visit his restaurant, where Italian cuisine is served based on recipes from Valastro’s mom, grandmother and aunts. Yes, there are sweets there, too.

TAO Asian Bistro – TAO is a nightclub, it’s true, but before it turns into a thumping lounge, it also serves up some darn good food. From its sister restaurant in New York, this Vegas outlet brings a full sushi bar, dim sum and awesome cocktails to wash it all down.
