Know the Stone: Aquamarine
The year 2020 may be one of Classic Blue, but we can still play with shades a bit. In fact, some of the most beautiful pairings come when dark and light hues of the same color combine, showcasing beautiful range and creating an ombré effect.
So while we celebrate sapphires (as one should), we cheer lighter blue gemstones, too. Aquamarine is a particularly sweet example, and one that’s well-received in a range of categories—not only in fashion and fine jewelry, but for wedding rings as well.
Aquamarine is gaining popularity among brides-to-be, with more engagement rings featuring the stone. This soothing blue gem is also beloved on red carpets, in vintage jewelry as well as modern, and looks just as amazing in the rough as it does cut.
Aquamarine can do it all. And some of our exhibitors from JCK Tucson 2020 can prove it. They utilize the stone in a wide range of works with varying aesthetics, and this blue beauty seems right at home in each of them. Here’s a preview of the amazing aquamarines you might encounter at the show.
