What press credentials are needed to qualify?
Registrants must present valid identification: photo ID, business card with name, company, and title, or if you are registering as Editorial Press and do not have a business card, a masthead/published article with your name in the byline.
Acceptable credentials include a business card from a print, digital, broadcast or media organization in an editorial position (with individual's name and title listed) AND one of the following:
- Editors/Journalists/Reporters: Bylined jewelry, watch, gemstone and/or retail-relevant article, published in an approved media outlet within the past twelve months
- Freelance Writers: Current letter of assignment or a link to jewelry-relevant bylined article, published within the past twelve months in an approved media outlet (credit must match name of person registering).
- Bloggers/Podcasters/Content Creators/Social Media Influencers: Current media kit with audience demographics along with coverage of other industry events and/or jewelry brand promotion. Blogs, podcasts and social profiles will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on traffic, content relevance and quality, engagement on social media channels, frequency of posts, etc.
- Photographers/Videographers: Credited image/video coverage of a similar jewelry event along with a letter of assignment from an approved media outlet (as applicable for freelancers covering on behalf of a media outlet).
