Remembering Las Vegas: An Exhibitor Recap of the 2023 JCK Show

The 2023 JCK Show has come and gone, but the event is sure to live on in our memories. Though it felt like it happened in the blink of an eye, the show left a lasting impression on its attendees.

For exhibiting brands and designers, the show marks not only an unforgettable occasion, but an opportunity to make connections with retailers and friends. We got the highlights from some of our exhibitors on their favorite memories, best-selling items, and more. All below.

“I think for me it was actually seeing and trying the new laser being offered by Sunstone Engineering, the Orion 160 ECO. It is an incredibly powerful laser that is simple and easy to use but also allows for a lot of customization of settings. And it's nearly half the price of many lasers with similar features. Second to that would be seeing old and new friends at the booth!

“Our best sellers were our new cuffs, the new reliquary pendants, and our new Precious Damascus rings where we set our patterned and hand-forged Damascus steel with precious metals like 18k gold or 14k rose gold with or without diamonds.” – Chris Ploof, Chris Ploof Designs

“I always look forward to JCK Las Vegas as it brings together the entire industry under one roof. Meeting the old and new faces, witnessing their reactions to our styles and designs, discovering upcoming talent, and getting the chance to collaborate/work on a broader level. The reaction to our pave-set gemstone pieces was exceptional! Each stone has been thoughtfully placed and crafted to evoke the elegance and grace of the piece.” – Nisha Jain, 18 Carat House

“We had a great show and we found the entire event—the atmosphere, the people, the experience—to be memorable.” – Isaac Reiss, I. Reiss

"Spending time with other vendors and customers was the highlight of the show for me. At the end of the day, who you work with is everything and we are fortunate to have made the connection to even more incredible colleagues at the show.

“Our jewelry celebrates diverse tastes and preferences, offering a wide range of stylish options that resonate with your unique sense of style and identity. Layer it up to create a look that’s you!” – Nancy D. Street,  Lolovivi

"One particular moment that stood out was when a long-time client approached our booth and expressed their appreciation for our products. They shared a heartwarming story about how our jewelry really took their store to the next level. It reminded me of the impact our work has on people's lives and reminded us of our passion for what we do.” – Mehran Ghoreyshi, Ounce Collection

“We were overwhelmingly excited about the feedback and enthusiasm from new and existing partners nationwide at the Kirk Kara booth! Our new artistic and nature-inspired handcrafted designs were extremely well received, and everyone was optimistic about the remainder of 2023’s bridal sales. Because of all the great foot traffic this year, my Vegas memories don’t go much further than the exciting bursts of energy from retailers in our humble booth!” – Angela Karaguezian, Kirk Kara

“My most memorable moment was seeing our customers’ eyes pop open in awe when they walked into the new Le Vian high jewelry room at JCK, and saying this is exactly what we need to counteract the effects of the falling prices of lab-grown diamonds.

“The best-selling items were the unicorn gems platinum collection of one-of-a-kind Paraiba tourmalines, and natural color pink, blue, and yellow diamonds.” – Eddie Levian, Le Vian

“We are happy to say that we had a phenomenal experience at this year’s JCK show! This year, our main goal was to showcase the items our company is most well-known for: our larger tennis necklaces and our basic diamond by the yard necklaces. They allow our customers to celebrate every day with some sparkle! Being that KGM is a price source manufacturer made in the United States, we carry both these items in all sizes and styles. “

“At JCK, we most definitely accomplished our goal of exhibiting both items, and are proud to say that our customers were all very satisfied with the pieces as they are created with the finest diamonds, timeless and exceptional quality, in addition to outstanding prices. We believe one of the reasons we did so well with these items is because KGM gives a twist to the classic tennis by adding an adjustable chain, so that you can be both classic and trendy. Essentially, we can convert any tennis necklace into a choker—any style, any color. We make it all happen! We want to thank JCK for another incredible show and are looking forward to next year.” – Shirin Soleimany, KGM Industries

Constellation necklace in sterling silver with 0.55 ct. t.w. simulated diamonds, $180; Lafonn

"This was Lafonn's best JCK show to date. We had a tarot reader activation to support the launch of our constellation coin necklaces—and it was a huge hit! The positive energy at Lafonn's booth was contagious, and we're excited to carry this momentum into the second half of 2023." – Molly Wang, Lafonn

“Even though this year we saw a smaller influx of visitors I believe that those who attended had a clearer vision considering what they wanted. We noticed more and genuine interest. I would say that our newest collection ‘The Olympians Collection,’ which features the symbols of the Greek Olympian Gods was our best seller. Our clients were stunned by the details and ingenuity of this collection confirming the above conclusions. ‘Apollo’s Lyre’ and ‘Aphrodite’s Seashell’ were the most wanted items from this collection.” – Antonios Kouzoupis, Kouzoupis

“We have been exhibiting in Las Vegas for many years. This year, too, our highlight was the large number of interested visitors and personal discussions. We are pleased with the conclusion of a very successful show.” – Linda Breuning, Breuning

Long drop earrings in 18k gold-plated sterling silver with Paraiba topaz, $240; Anatoli

“Our new Lyra long-drop earrings stole the show! The silhouette is feminine with a modern, minimal design and comes in a full range of gemstones.  The rhodolite garnet and Paraiba topaz were the best-sellers. Our customers loved them!”- Shannon Hudson, Anatoli

"I was thrilled at how well received our new campaign image was.  We featured Sydney Baston, a VAHAN fan and real champion barrel racer, riding her horse Uno with her wrist decked out in bracelets.  This is an image inspired by real life.  It was a departure for us, but it worked.  Nothing beats authenticity." - Robert Kraft, VAHAN Jewelry
