What was New at JCK 2023?

JCK 2023 was one of the best editions yet – with notable energy backed by leading events and networking. Take a look at what was new, innovative and fresh this past year.

Extended Registration Hours

There’s no time to waste when at JCK. Making the most of all the time on the Show Floor is key. This year, attendee and exhibitor registration and badge pickup hours were extended on Thursday, June 1.

New & Returning Activations & Experiences

In 2023, JCK continued the tradition of featuring activations and “instagrammable” moments on the Show Floor, including the Permanent Jewelry Activation in the Golden Hour Lounge. Along with a lounge featuring a golden hour lighting photobooth.

The Golden Hour Lounge and activation was sponsored by Stuller.

JCK Rocks Moved back to Sunday

JCK Rocks returned for another celebration of JCK, taking place Sunday, June 4 in the Palazzo Ballroom on Level 5. Headline Entertainment for JCK Rocks 2023 was none-other than Andy Grammar, multi-platinum singer, song writer and record producer, with hits including “Honey, I’m Good” and “Keep Your Head Up.”

NEW: JCK Rocks directly followed Jewelers For Children’s Facets of Hope event also in the Palazzo Ballroom.

The JCK Rocks Headline Sponsor was Brosway Italia.

The JCK Keynote Moved to Saturday Morning

The JCK Keynote moved to Saturday morning, June 3 at 8:00 AM in the Palazzo Ballroom on Level 5 of the Venetian. This year, Johnny Cupcakes (Johnny Earle) shared his strategic tactics and approaches to customer value in Creating Customer Obsession & Memorable Experiences with Limited Resources. Johnny’s brand Johnny Cupcakes continues to conquer the globe, having been named America’s #1 Young Entrepreneur by Business Week and Top Innovator in Retail by The Boston Globe. His session shared how retailers and brands can create a wave of word-of-mouth marketing, loyalty, and obsession around their store or products. The 2023 JCK Keynote was sponsored by Sarine Technologies.

Now a badge upgrade for the show, attendees that have JCK PRO status can enjoy access to a suite of amenities at the Show. This included dedicate badge pickup and kiosks, a business center, a lounge on Level 2 of the Show Floor, a VIP Taxi line, private entry and a reserved area at JCK Rocks, a lunch voucher, and much more! For just $199, attendees can purchase PRO or upgrade their existing registration. The price increases to $249 on-site.

An Enhanced Innovation Hub Experience

Back for 2023, JCK’s Innovation Hub is the center of all that is next in the world of innovation in the industry and retail in general.  The Hub featured the Showcase Stage, the all-new Social Media stage, and the Retail Innovation companies moving up from Level 1 to Level 2.

The Career Zone

To connect those looking for work with potential employers, JCK has created a dedicated area of the Show Floor, The Career Zone, with screens showcasing open positions. The Career Zone will allow people both hiring and seeking new opportunities to connect in-person and grow their networks in the industry.

Social Stage

The Social Stage — debuting at JCK 2023 — is the new, dedicated stage showcasing content around social media tactics and strategies. Learn from expert influencers and industry speakers that have mastered the art of engaging their audience, building their brands, and understanding the importance of engagement in the ever-changing world of social media.

On Level 2 in the enhanced Innovation Hub, these focus areas will highlight the skills, strategies, and know-how you need to bring home to your business and your social media account while at JCK.
