The Luxury Community Gives Back

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a toll on everyone to some degree, with certain communities being hit harder than others. In addition, others are donating to causes to support racial equality.

We are so proud to have a number of brands within our Luxury community giving back during these difficult and unprecedented times through their hard work and gorgeous creations. See their stories and how they are giving back:

Lauren K

Lauren K is one of many jewelry designers to step up in addressing the longstanding issue of the access of opportunity, specifically within the industry. by donating and creating an endowment for black students studying jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

De Beers Group

De Beers Group commissioned tailors in Botswana to make $250,000 reusable face masks through Debswana, Botswana. The $400,000 investment aims to provide equipment, as well as a valuable source of income for artisans around their operations. It has also donated $200,000 to support efforts to tackle domestic violence which as surged during this time due to stay-at-home orders, in addition to the $5 million pledge it’s made to support COVID-19 relief efforts worldwide.

Diaspark Inc.

Diaspark initiated the distribution of personal protection equipment (PPE) kits in Indore, India, to to the workers working the front line of COVID-19.

EF Collection

EF Collection donated a portion of proceeds from sales to No Kid Hungry, Feeding America, Meals on Wheels America and the family of celebrity fitness trainer Amanda Kloots, in support of her husband, Nick Cordero, who is still battling the virus. $200,000 was donated to these amazing causes.

Henri Daussi has been holding ongoing weekly auctions with 100% of proceeds going to COVID-19 relief for NYC Health + Hospitals.

Lika Behar Collection

Lika Behar Collection donated a portion of all proceeds from sales in April and May to Citimeals on Wheels to help feed the elderly in New York during this time.

Omi Privé

Omi Privé gifted a gorgeous sapphire and diamond pendant to one brave person who’s been working on the front lines.

Parlé

Parlé held a live auction to benefit Gem Legacy, No Kid Hungry and Manos Phoundoulakis’s mask making efforts.

Shy Creation

Shy Creation held a giveaway to gift ten amazing mothers in the healthcare profession a pair of classic mini shaker hoop earrings.

Simon G.

Simon G. offered 250 free $10 GrubHub passes to the first people to claim them on their website, and matched each pass with a $10 donation to Feeding America.

Sloane Street

Sloane Street donated over 200 leather bracelets along with a sweet treat, packaged up for healthcare workers in the Newport Beach, California area.
